The next day when the sun comes up it's ok though still too bright and when looking at the sky it's white and too bright. The street lights looked like they were off, just very dim and you could not see the road well enough to drive or play any missions. Once I left the safehouse again it was extremely dark. Hell I couldn't even get out of the safehouse, it literally took a few minutes to get out since it was 90% black and I could not see and had to guess where the door was.
On the other hand when it gets dark you cannot see $hit, it's pitch black and I was unable to do any missions at night since I could not see anything. There are times when it's simply way too bright, so bright that it looks foggy and you can barely see the car in front. Last night I spent more time trying to adjust the settings in the ENB ino file than playing GTA IV itself.Įven though the settings/colour/contrast appeared fine, when the weather changes or it gets dark then the game is unplayable since you cannot see anything. If possible post some screens of your mods so I can see how they look! GTA IV is so nice on thw pc I'm actually replaying it, so far done 15% and I'm loving it. I need something that's easy to install, not one of them mods that require you to copy different files into different folders. My question is what are the BEST mod or 2 to try out that are bug free, not bright and have the best possible detail in the game? Though they worked there was a problem that I as well as others had.įor some reason it made it ultra bright and even when decreasing brightness/contrast to to the lowest it remained too bright. I took a look at some youtube videos for mods for GTA IV and they looked even better than the already good graphics, improvements in the sky, roads, even more detail.
On top of that it runs super smooth at 60fps constant & controls are way better than on the ps3, nice and accurate with a mouse. It's like a whole new game, so much detail in the characters, cars, streets, water, etc. The graphics were terrible, blurry, very laggy & full of jaggies.Ģ days back after installing it on the pc, installing all patches and then maxing out the display/video settings I was absolutely amazed, could not believe the difference. When GTA IV first came out I bought it for the PS3 since my pc was not powerful enough to run it at the time.
